How much does the service cost?
Gas Appliance Fault Finding and Repair $297.00 + gst
Full Service & Home Tune Up $297.00 + gst
Gas Leak Detection and Location $330.00 + gst
Full Gas Appliances Safety Check $360.00 + gst
Commercial Kitchen Safety Check $360.00 + gst
Programmed Servicing of Commercial Appliances P.O.A.
Gas Appliance Safety Check & Clean $297.00 + gst
Rooming House Gas Safety Checks with and ESV/CAV inspection report $360+gst
– Service fees cover the first 60 mins of labour, additional time (if required) will attract further charges ($45 + GST per quarter hour)
– Service and repairs carry a 3-month warranty.
– Parts carry a minimum of 12-month warranty.
How much time do I have to wait for a technician to come?
Generally we aim to get a technician booked to come out within a day or two of your request, however during peak season there can sometimes be delay due to the demand. We offer hour blocks from 8am until 4pm, Mon -Fri.
As a general guide, we offer a hour arrival window, for example, the technician will arrive between 10:00am – 11:00am. Our technicians will usually arrive as close to the start time as possible, however if they are running a little behind schedule we will ring you and let you know.
Does the appliance have to be taken away?
Generally – no. The appliance will be fixed on site.
What are your operating hours?
We operate Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Can I book an appointment time?
We book our appointments in one hour blocks. So generally, the most you would be waiting is 0 to 30 minutes.
So each day we have times from 8am , 9am 10am etc – Last appointment time 4pm Mon-Fri
How much extra is a service on a second and third appliance
If a second appliance is serviced in the same dwelling we waive the travel cost.
This brings the price down to $200+gst
What’s your cancellation policy?
We are happy to reschedule if you ring 24hrs prior to your scheduled appointment.
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you could be subject to a cancellation fee. This includes appointments where our technician arrives on site and is unable to access the property as arranged. To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by calling us on 9502 4854.
Do you have a Covid policy?
Yes, we do! We are fully committed to keeping our customers, staff and community safe and healthy. We follow all current guidelines as directed by the public health authorities and take the necessary steps to protect you and our technicians whenever they visit your home.
- Our staff are fully vaccinated
- Wear the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Will physically distance and keep 1.5m (where possible)
- Will sanitise their hands before entering your property and at regular intervals during their visit
- Will disinfect surfaces and work areas on completion
What we ask of you:
- If between now and your appointment you (or someone in your household) experience Covid like symptoms, require a Covid test or isolate please let us know ASAP.
- Where possible, stay in a different room to the one the technician is working in and open any doors / windows to make sure your home is as well-ventilated as possible during our visit.

Gas Safety Certification Australia Pty Ltd t/as Total Gas Care Services will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
In order to protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information
It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
